In most graphics and 3D editors you can use the mouse wheel to zoom towards. I sincerely hope Logitech always offers mice with hyperfast scrolling - people just don't know what they're missing! It's so much better ergonomically, saving a ton of time and effort, and there's always the option to toggle it off and use the ratchet function. Now, when you use the scroll wheel, holding shift expands or contracts the track height, holding option zooms in/out, and holding command navigates forwards and backwards. (Though I use free spin almost exclusively, except in Blender, where I toggle it on and off depending on what I'm doing.) In R17, they've unified the behavior of mouse scroll wheels and trackpads, plus they've added the option to zoom to the mouse pointer vs zoom to the playhead. I won't use any mouse except a Logitech with the hyperfast scroll wheel, and this one is even better with the MagSpeed scroll wheel, *and* the automatic shift to free spin when needed. Ive been using DaVinci Resolve since it was first ported to the macOS over a decade ago. ![]() I could program more of the buttons if I wanted, but these work extremely well with the keyboard shortcuts (e.g. Starting with DaVinci Resolve 8.1.1, DNxHD is now included with every install of DaVinci Resolve and DaVinci Resolve Lite. I manually programmed my middle click (wheel) as Backspace the thumb Gesture click as Home, and my fwd/back side buttons as Undo and Redo. I bought this mouse for use with DaVince Resolve (17), and it works beautifully.
